In world war one, I Woodrow Wilson struggled in the war. I did not want to be in the war. I sp oke to congress about my fourteen points. To stay out of war and have peace. I avoided war for two years. In 1916 i was reelected using the slogan he kept us out of war.
Until in April 2, 1917 I ask to declare war on Germany. they sunk four Americans ships. i mobilized my industry and had 4 million men in the army. i gave command to general john j. preshing to attack Germany.
I join the war because i wanted to make the world safe for democracy. I wanted to end war with peace not victory. I did wanted peace. to live with peace so no one could die in war. so democracy can be safe.
The war ended in Nov. 11, 1918. we won against the Germany

This is John Kennedy, and I felt the same way about warfare that you did. I think any human being would feel unfamiliar and uncomfortbale with the idea of being relied on in times of war and trouble. But we must prove ourselves as true patriotic, heroic figures, and pull through with our duties.
